Quotes Are Estimates Until Confirmed
A quote you receive through the website or by email is a good-faith estimate based on the details you give us. It is not a final contract until we confirm your relocation in writing and you accept it.
What can change a quote
The final price may differ if the actual inventory, access (stairs, elevators, long carries, gated entry, parking), home size, or dates differ from what you described. We tell you before any change takes effect, never after the fact.
- Local jobs are billed at our published hourly rates, with truck, pads, and dollies included
- Flat written rates by home size apply when the scope is confirmed in advance
- Long-distance relocations are quoted as a binding written quote based on inventory and distance
Scope of Our Service
As a licensed Colorado mover, we perform the loading, transport, and unloading of your household goods using our own equipment and crews. Specialty work such as pianos or storage is offered as described on our service pages and confirmed in your quote.
- We provide the truck, moving pads, dollies, and trained uniformed crews
- Packing and materials are available as add-on services when requested
- We do not transport hazardous materials, perishables, plants, firearms, cash, or irreplaceable documents
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate inventory, addresses, and access details
- Secure parking or building access, including elevator reservations and gated-community entry, where required
- Disclose oversized, fragile, or high-value items in advance
- Be available, or have an authorized adult present, on move day
Liability and Cargo Coverage
Every Konami Moving and Storage job carries $1M cargo coverage. Valuation and claims are handled according to the terms of your written estimate and applicable Colorado and federal moving regulations, including released value at $0.60 per pound and an optional full-value-protection plan of 1-3% of declared value.
Filing a claim
If an item is lost or damaged in our care, notify us promptly and in writing – generally within the nine-month federal claim window – so we can document and resolve it. Pre-existing damage and items packed by the customer may be treated differently under standard mover valuation rules.
To the fullest extent permitted by Colorado law, Konami Moving and Storage is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any relocation is limited to the coverage and valuation terms set out in your confirmed estimate.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule by contacting our office as early as possible before your move date
- Any deposit and cancellation terms are stated in your written confirmation before you book
- If severe weather or road conditions, such as a spring hailstorm or a January cold snap closing the Golden grade on I-70, make a relocation unsafe, we will work with you to reschedule
Payment
Payment terms, accepted methods, and any deposit are set out in your written estimate and are due as agreed for the service performed. Hourly local jobs are billed for the time and any add-ons used; flat-rate and long-distance jobs are billed at the confirmed written price.
